This set of wedding invitations was designed for Nanelle & Chris. They were loosely based on a design that they had seen on the internet, which incorporated three different colors separating the information. We decided to keep the color palette fully in the purple family because that is the main color they are using, and I added the strings of rhinestones and cursive script for their names to make them super elegant.

Nanelle and Chris decided to take advantage of the double envelopes, which I absolutely loved. We had their guests’ formal names on the outside, and then in the cursive font we put their informal names. The inner envelope was lined with shiny silver and added that much more to the design.

We had three insert cards, which included a Reception Information card, an Accommodations card, and a vertical RSVP card which allowed the guests to specify which meal they preferred. All of the cards mimicked the string of rhinestones design, but only the invitation actually had the stones. I also included a sheet of translucent padding to protect to the rhinestones in transit.

Each piece was double-layered with a purple matching the darkest purple on the design. I absolutely loved how sturdy they felt, and the final look was awesome.

With 30 rhinestones per invitation, I used a total of 4,350 rhinestones for this set! This entire set was a lot of work but every single second was worth it – I’m so happy with how they came out.
