This invitation set was created for Nicole & Ryan. The bride based their colors on the robin’s egg blue Tiffany’s box, and she wanted the invitation to be a “box.” I decided to go with a square format, and the interior design I wanted to be elegant and flowing. I found a font that I really liked for their names, and I ended up creating the decoration from that. I tied the whole package together with a large white bow.
To compliment the invitation, I went with robin’s egg blue paper for the RSVP cards with white envelopes. We used two different RSVP cards – one with a simple “yes or no” response, and one for groups where the guest could specify how many were coming.
The whole package was held in a white envelope printed with the couple’s name and address, their guests’ names and addresses, and the same decoration used on the interior of their invitation.
The bride was one of my friends from school and I knew her very well growing up, so it was a wonderful experience to design invitations for something so important in her life. I also already knew her personality, so this was by far one of my easiest sets to design because I already knew what she liked.
